Building codes today require that the positive internal air pressure within tightly constructed buildings be maintained in a energy efficient manner. Air Entrance air curtains / air doors produce a stream of air that separates the indoor conditioned air from the outdoor uncontrolled air. As much as 90% of the discharged air is collected and recirculated.
Air is drawn in through the floor grill by a fan, trapping dirt and foreign particles in the fine mesh filters before the air is recirculated. Any dirt that is drawn into the pit and filters is removed by an automatic wash system that is completely plumbed and can easily be connected to your existing water supply.
