DF1000SS Defrosting / Chilling Insulated Fish Tote was developed to save you both time and money. This innovative defrosting insulated container is capable of reducing your frozen product thawing time by half, giving you a superior product.
By allowing water and compressed air to be pumped into the insulated container through nine spouts molded into the container's base, it creates a whirlpool effect that not only halves the thawing time but results in better product that does not lose its shape or freshness.
These fish totes come supplied with easy-to-use intake valves, for the quick connection of air and water or any combination of the two needed, providing a simple solution to the problem of rapid thawing.
Through individual testing you can determine the best way to achieve your defrosting results. Water can be introduced through all nine spouts to the desired height, and then all spouts can be transferred to air. This minimizes water consumption and sewer out flow.
Air Recommendations
The use of an air blower is highly recommended, not only to eliminate oil contaminants, but also to minimize damage to plumbed lines. Blower air will redirect itself to a clear passage should it come across any blockage. Compressed air will continue to force until the resistance is eliminated, which will result in a damaged line.
Storage Recommendations
Should the defrosting / chilling insulated fish tote be stored in sub zero temperatures, it is recommended that all plumbed lines are air blown to ensure all water is removed. The container should then be stored upside down to prevent water from entering in the container.
