transporation for L3P paper dunnage air bags

L3P Paper Shipping Supplies Air Bags are designed for heavy weight loads being transported by railcar, intermodal, ocean container, or vessel. Exposure to heavy oscillation as well as longitudinal and lateral movement can cause loads to shift, and if not properly secured, product damage can occur. Properly positioned paper dunnage air bags can reposition the load and create a bulk head force to prevent load shifts.

Dunnage Air Bag Benefits:

  • Reduced Product Damage - properly securing loads with dunnage air bags can reduce product damage during transport.
  • Reduced Labor Costs - requires less labor to secure loads with dunnage air bags than with lumber.
  • Increased Customer Satisfaction - when your product arrives undamaged, your customer is happy.
  • Versatility - the flexibility of these bags makes them a proven method of load securement.

Paper Dunnage Air Bag Features:

  • 6 Ply extensible Kraft paper.
  • 8 psi maximum inflation.
  • 25 psi average burst.
  • Fast Fill (FF) disposable valve.

RAILCAR
Meet Association of American Railroad (AAR) specifications for proper and safe loading of many railcar shipments.

Product loads shipped by railcar can be very heavy weight and are often subjected to prolonged, excessive movement, making it necessary to properly brace the loads.

Dunnage air bags can be used to secure your palletized, unitized, slip-sheeted or loose-stacked loads both lengthwise and crosswise.  Lengthwise bracing helps to re-position loads toward end walls, assisting to eliminate length-wise voids, as well as acting as a cushion to help absorb shock.  Crosswise bracing, placed between lengthwise rows of the load, fill the voids and help to keep the product load held tightly against the sidewalls.

INTERMODAL
Meet Association of American Railroad (AAR) specifications for proper and safe loading of many inter modal shipments.

Product loads shipped by piggyback or sea containers can often be subjected to prolonged, excessive movement, sometimes over very long distances, making it even more imperative that you use reliable bracing to ensure that your product arrives undamaged.

Dunnage air bags help to re-position loads toward end walls, assisting to eliminate length-wise voids, as well as acting as a cushion to help absorb shock.

OCEAN CONTAINER
Product loads shipped by overseas containers can shift both laterally and lengthwise if not properly cross-wire braced.  Dunnage air bags are placed between lengthwise rows of the load to prevent movement.

VESSEL
Product loads shipped by sea vessels are exposed to prolonged motions caused by the pitch, roll, heave, sway and surge of the vessel at sea.

Positioning dunnage air bags in voids and slack areas, will hold the load in place by exerting outward pressure against the load on either side, or between the load and the bulkhead.
