There’s never enough time in the day to get everything done that I want to get done, so I’m always looking for ways to do things smarter, quicker and easier. My sister told me about this great little program she used at her job that allowed her to take a snapshot picture of a selected portion of anything on your computer screen (website page, Excel or Word document, article, etc.) and paste it or save it to include in an e-mail or document. This sounded like something I could really use so I went home and went exploring on Google and lo and behold, discovered that we all have a similar program included in our Windows 7 called Snipping Tool. I opened it, added it to my taskbar, have been using it ever since and LOVE IT!! Here’s a great post on how to open and use Snipping Tool. And here’s another tip, once you have opened the program for the first time, right click on the icon in your taskbar and select “pin this program to taskbar” and it will remain there so you have quick and easy access to it whenever you need it. This wonderful little tool has come in handy so many times, and really helped my increase my productivity; I can’t wait for you to try it.
