By adding disinfectant solution, and then having your workers step into the mat, aggressive rubber fingertips at the bottom of the mat will scrape the bottom of boots to remove contaminants, so they aren’t spread into your work spaces.

This boot bath rubber floor mat features 2″ raised walls that hold the disinfectant inside the mat and to help reduce splashing.
