D345 On-Board Handling Insulated Fish Totes are designed to be used on board fishing vessels for housing live lobster to help minimize handling and promote higher value, customer satisfaction and better marketability for your lobster.  It is also ideal for harvesting fin-fish, all types of shellfish, bass, trout, tilapia and eels.
To best maximize the quality, the utmost care needs to be given at the point of harvest, as soon as the lobster is taken out of the water.  It is imperative to stabilize and reduce the stress as soon as possible.  By reducing handling and stress, it minimizes damage to the lobster, keeping them as healthy as possible until they arrive on our plates. A healthy lobster retains maximum value.

The D345 on board handling insulated container offers a unique solution for the storage, handling and transportation of live lobster.  It can be used in conjunction with IPL's 70 liter plastic totes and lobster crates.  (6) of either plastic tote will fit inside, each holding 100 lbs.

These insulated fish totes comes standard with (3) drains for proper water circulation - (1) for filling, and (2) for overflowing the exit water.  The lid features (6) heavy duty clamps, which when combined with optional lid seal, provide a water right seal, which is very important for live transport.
