Stretch wrap is a thin stretchable plastic material that can be wrapped around numerous items for the purpose of keeping them bound tightly. It’s most common application is to tightly wrap pallet loads but it can also be used to bundle smaller groups of items as well. Shrink wrap is frequently confused with stretch wrap. Shrink wrapping is when plastic film gets loosely wrapped around an item or group of items and heat is applied to shrink the plastic tightly around the items. Stretch wrap material can be applied using several different methods, such as banding, hand operated spindles, automatic or semi -automatic wrappers, and machine dispensers of various kinds. There are many benefits to using stretch wrap to secure goods. Some of those benefits include:
